Prayers & Squares
Prayers & Squares...aka The Prayer Quilt Ministry!  This is a really good one to get involved in!

There is also an wonderful book about this ministry called Fabric of Faith.  You will definitely want to own a copy of this!  (links over to Amazon)

Quilts of Valor

Quilts of Valor--This is an incredible organization whose mission is to cover each of our combat wounded soldiers with a Quilt of Valor!

Heartstrings is a fun online group that uses scrappy strips ("strings") of fabric to create charity quilts.  They have a yahoo group, a website, and a blog!  You'll find lots of ideas and encouragement for turning your scraps into fabulous quilts!

This is linked over to Ami Simms' website.  Ami is working hard to raise funds for Alzheimer's research.  She's got some great ways for us to help out...including making a wee little quilt to send in for auction!  Be sure and check it out!

Ok.  This is some non-quilting stuff, but hear me out!  I'm adding this link to Dan Miller's website because so many of us have loved ones that need career help.  Dan is the Man!!  He helped me to create this business and my hubby to change careers.  (Sounds like we are having a little mid-life crisis, doesn't it?!) Dan offers wonderful products for changing jobs, changing careers, or creating your own business.  Dan also has a free email newsletter that you won't want to miss.

Bullaka Productions
Do you know anyone in need of a website?  Be sure and tell them about Aaron Bull of Bullaka Productions.  Aaron has done an amazing job building my website and patiently answering all my really dumb questions.  (He even humors me by telling me how smart I am!!  HaHa!)  Plus, he answers questions with language that regular people can understand!   Aaron has made my website so easy for me to use...I just can't stop telling people about it!!  Pass it on!!

Now back to quilting links:

Patterns of Faith
This is Carol Honderich's website.  She created the Women of the Bible quilt and helps others to create the quilt through a Yahoo Bible study group.  Very cool stuff...I know you'll be inspired by Carol and her quilts!

Be Sew Happy Quilt Shop
This is a great online store owned and operated by another Quilty Girl, Sandy Harper!  Sandy's "shop" is loaded with great stuff!  (and she's a friend, so be nice to her!)

Claudia's Quilt Shoppe

You've just got to read the "Ask Granny" column and also "Granny's Tips".  Granny is sometimes a little cranky, but sure to make you giggle!!  Find out why they took poor Granny's design wall away!

Here's something new! The Loudeac Tile Studio has Gwen Marston quilts available on assorted sizes of tile.  Very cool stuff!!

Quilters' S.O.S - Save Our Stories

This is through the Center for the Quilt.
You'll find a zillion interviews with quilters here!

Ami Simms
Ami is soooooo funny!! Everything she writes makes me laugh.
Be sure and sign up for her newsletter.   You can also read Ami's Featured Quilter article.

Quiltin' Tia
Susan Ziegler (aka Quiltin' Tia) is a delightful quilting friend of mine! She tells it like it is!  Learn more about Susan here.

Patches from the Past

This is a great website filled with articles on quilting history.

Quilt Camp in the Pines
Doesn't quilt camp sound like fun?!  Remember making all those crafts as camp when you were a kid?  I'm guessing we would have stayed all summer if they had given us quilting projects (that probably explains why they didn't!)

Eileen Keane...a Quilty Girl longarm quilter in Maybrook, New York!
www.DesigningQuilts.com

Here is another Quilters Retreat...This one is at a resort in Michigan.  Sounds fun!
